The next generation of leaders officially signed on.
The 2026 Youth Apprenticeship Signing Day, hosted by the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES), celebrated students taking the next step toward their futures through apprenticeship and workforce opportunities across the District.
Inspired by the energy of a professional draft day, today honored students who have shown commitment, discipline, and ambition — and welcomed them into careers where they can learn, grow, and lead.
This is more than a signing day. It’s a celebration of potential, purpose, and pathways to success.
