I can confirm that waiting until everything is perfect does nothing for your nervous system. 😮‍💨

Whether it’s the right lighting, the right edit, the right time of day. If one thing was off, that was a tomorrow post. The way nothing was ever getting posted.

What actually shifted was me deciding to document my real life instead of performing a version of it. No big production. Just me, living freely and bringing people along. 🙌🏾

Turns out that’s the stuff people actually connect with.

Consistency got fun when I stopped treating it like a checklist and started treating it like a conversation.

Even though I love a checklist I had to get uncomfortable. Follow along, I’m a girlie who gets it! 🫶🏾

Two years in, I had a good manager, free work trips, unlimited PTO, and swag for days.

And I still knew something was off.

The doubt didn’t show up because anything was bad. It showed up because I was genuinely, deeply bored.

Same tasks every day, the same emails, the same dashboards. 🫠

I’m hitting every metric and feeling absolutely nothing.

I even tried switching departments. Thought maybe a new role in the same building would scratch the itch. It didn’t.

So I stayed. 7 years later and that quiet question just kept getting louder the whole time.

Is this really my life?

Leaving wasn’t a dramatic moment. No big blow out or a terrible manager. Just me finally being tired of comfort being my only reason to stay.

If that question is getting louder for you too, you’re not being ungrateful. You’re just being honest with yourself.

Rebuilding takes bravery and pure honesty. Follow , she’s a girlie who gets it! 🫶🏾

You exchange info, you hype each other up, you say “let’s definitely connect”…

and then life happens and 3 months go by and you haven’t spoken since.

That was me. Every single time. 😮‍💨

So I stopped waiting and built the thing I actually needed.

That’s how Coffee & Collab started. A simple, intentional monthly chat where I get to check in with people who actually get this journey. No agenda. No performing and it’s not transactional.

Just real conversation between people who are building something and need to know they’re not doing it alone.

Who knew it would turn into networking buddies, accountability partners, and genuine friendships forming!

There are people who celebrate your win like it’s their own because they understand that we all can eat.

One person’s success doesn’t take food off anyone’s plate. We’re not competing. We’re collaborating.

And that shift changes everything about how you show up in community.

I hear it every time. “This is such a great idea” and is! 😌

But more than that, it’s a decision. A decision to stop leaving connection open to chance and start being intentional about it.

You don’t need a big audience to build real community. You need a consistent reason to stay in contact with the people already in your corner.

If you think you’re bad at building community and need genuine support to keep going, I gotchu! Follow , a girlie who gets it! 🫶🏾

one thing about me, I will be at a coffee shop with a hot chai and my laptop like it’s my second office. 😌

There’s something about a coffee shop that quiets everything down.

The ideas start flowing, the overthinking slows and for a few hours I actually feel like I’m building something instead of just managing it.

Consistency doesn’t always look like a perfectly structured morning routine.

Sometimes it looks like a $7 chai and a corner seat that makes you feel like yourself again.

If that’s what it takes to show up for my business with joy instead of obligation then that’s a business expense and I’m writing it off at the end of the year. 😉

Find what makes showing up feel good.

Then protect it like it’s part of your strategy because it is.

Follow along if you’re building something and actually trying to enjoy the ride. 🫶🏾
