The BLACK X Art Exhibit + Film Screening focuses on providing a space for Black men to express their journey with mental health, spirituality, and self-identity. Experience the immersive which takes the viewer on a journey from darkness to light. The exhibition features digital artwork from DMV visual artists- Malachi E. Robinson, Ke’Shaun Whitehead, and D’Andre Leid.

City Winery Atlanta presents Ami Divine + Tadric Jermaine live on Monday August 29, 2022 at 8 PM.

Tadric Jermaine, multi-instrumentalist jazz composer signature production sound came from a lifelong love of music and a vision that blended mastery of live instruments with deft digital production techniques. He developed a signature sound that melded live jazz arrangements with inventive electronic production. Jermaine‘s solo debut album, MMIII (2017) is a collection of jazz-inflected instrumentals that showcased his knack for saxophone, inventive basslines, and electronic music production. He eventually earned the nickname “Tracks All Day” for his round-the-clock studio work.

Bev Johnson] ✨Each year, Bev Johnson My Praise, My Worship Music & Arts Ministry hosts a scholarship concert to recognize and provide funds to graduating high school students who exemplify leadership and community service towards the D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia community.✨

Our ministry is excited to announce the Bev Johnson My Praise, My Worship Music & Arts 13th Virtual Scholarship Concert on Saturday, August 6th from 10-11 AM EST via Zoom.
Two high school graduates will be awarded with the following scholarship funds to go towards their higher education:

Lakesha Bunn, CEO of Polished Events will be hosting her 2nd Annual Women’s Empowerment Summit: The Table on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in College Park, MD providing women both locally in the DMV and globally across the world with essential tools to care for their mind, body, and soul in a curated space while connecting and learning with like-minded business women.

Bunns story is compelling and relatable to many women given her experience as black-women entrepreneur managing a family and career; yet seeking spiritual grounding and mental well-being. She has now launched a coaching business Lakeshabunn.com with a goal to build empires while taking women of all backgrounds with her campaign of “No Women Left Behind”.
