This custom Washington, DC save the date features a vintage plan for the city created by Pierre L'Enfant, dating back to 1794. Some invitation details simply have to be seen in motion.

This video shows one of our favorite things about foil stamping: the way it catches the light. As the save the date moves, the gold foil shifts and shimmers across the custom die cut lemon design, revealing details that a photograph can only hint at.

Inspired by a wedding in Como, Italy, this piece was designed to celebrate the beauty of the destination through a custom silhouette inspired by Italian lemon groves. The combination of luxurious gold foil and a unique die cut shape creates an invitation that's as much an experience as it is a piece of stationery.

One of our favorite details from Alix and Connor's Italy destination wedding suite is actually on the back of the invitation.

Rather than leaving it blank, we designed an intricate teal foil pattern inspired by the decorative tiles at their reception venue. As the invitation catches the light, the foil shifts and reflects, adding another layer of craftsmanship and creating a beautiful surprise for guests.

Details like these may seem small, but they help turn an invitation into something people want to hold onto long after the wedding day.

When we design a custom suite, we think about every surface and every opportunity to tell a little more of the couple's story. Sometimes the back of the invitation becomes one of our favorite parts. ✨

One of our favorite parts of creating custom wedding invitations is finding ways to weave meaningful details into every piece of the suite.

For Alix and Connor’s destination wedding in Italy, we designed a collection inspired by the Church Pieve di San Felice and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. The invitation is printed with deep letterpress and gold foil on soft cotton paper and features a custom watercolor illustration of their ceremony venue. On the back, a teal foil pattern takes inspiration from the decorative tiles found at the reception venue, adding a beautiful surprise when guests turn the invitation over.

The suite also includes a custom navy pocket with a gold foil lemon illustration and coordinating enclosure cards decorated with watercolor lemons, bringing together classic elegance with touches inspired by the Italian countryside.

Alix and Connor were wonderful to work with, and it was a privilege to create stationery that reflected such a memorable celebration.
