Zion isn’t just a park. It’s a journey. It’s a story. It’s where your kids fall in love with the nature. So if there’s one national park you should visit FIRST with your kids, let it be Zion.
Here are the recommendations:
Best Time to Go to Zion National Park:
1. Spring (April–May) – Perfect temperatures (60-80°F), blooming wildflowers, and flowing waterfalls. Did someone say 🌸. We went for spring break.
2. Fall (September–October) – Crisp air, stunning , and ideal hiking weather.
Cons: It’s also one of the more expensive times to visit Zion and but if plan ahead it’s worth it.
So our recommendation for Cheapest Time to Go to Zion:
1. Winter (December–February) – Lowest hotel rates and off-season deals.
2. Early Spring (March) – Before peak season kicks in, you can still find budget-friendly lodging.
Con: some trails and hikes are closed.
