For over 10 years I was a Vice President of Marriott Hotels in charge of marketing research and research for customer satisfaction, operations, food and beverage, new product development and the globalization of the Marriott brand. Based on my research, the senior executives were able to make decisions that moved the business forward.
In 1995, I realized that I could do the same for other business and left to start my own consulting firm. Many of my former bosses who had moved to positions in other Fortune 1000 companies became my clients. It was an easy start.
