I grew up in Boylston, MA and went to Holy Name CCHS. After college I enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent years away serving and seeing our great country. When I returned in 2003 I started and grew Palomar Printing. When I got divorced I gave my ex husband Palomar and branched out starting Sister's Branding Co. I grew Palomar from non-existent to what it is today. Although I loved what I did I
wanted to be more specialized. I knew how to begin again. This time around I have 19 years of knowledge and experience to do things more efficiently. I spent 19 years doing everything from design, back end duties, production, sourcing and raising 3 children in the business. For all of you who knew me at Palomar my one golden rule for my kids was- no naked babies in the showroom. My kids were 3 months and 1 year old when I started Palomar. I was their daycare. They spent everyday with me while I was learning to be a business and grow it. For some reason diapers came off and they would make a b-line for the showroom. Baby gates blocked them everywhere like little mice in a maze. What I noticed throughout the years was the lack of uniformity in small businesses. Branding is an important part of a business but I never had the time to dedicate to the branding aspect. We became screen printers, embroiderers and promotional product suppliers. Logos were simple and jobs were pushed out so we could keep it all going. There are plumbers, electricians, roofers, you name it everywhere. What makes you stand out? Do people remember you once the job is done? Now that I have Sister's I'm able to put 19 years of knowledge and skill behind my work and lead my team. Once we have your logo in line it's time to run it across the mediums like your social media accounts, business cards, screen printed apparel, signs, vehicle graphics and promotional products for uniformity all of which Sister's does. You want a customer to recognize your logo, font or tag lines. The one big advantage is where I'm located. A good portion of our time at Palomar was handling the walk in traffic. The window shoppers. That's the life of a main street business. My shop is located in a professional building. My day is focused and productive. The biggest takeaway from all the years of business is that everything can be done via email, messenger or phone if taking the time out of your day is an inconvenience. I know how hard it is to take time away from your business. Let us do our job so you can do yours. We're not just printers. We build Brands.
