There is a terrifying moment every author faces after writing "The End": The fear that their book will look just like everyone else's. 📖😱
Most authors struggle with a very specific pain point, The Identity Crisis. 🎭
They worry their sophisticated thriller will be slapped with a generic, "supermarket-shelf" cover. 🛒🚫
They fear a cluttered design will make their complex plot look "cheap" or amateur. 📉
They are anxious that the one central hook, the heartbeat of their story, won't be translated visually. 🎣❓
When I designed the cover for The Twenty-Third, my goal was to solve those fears with Minimalist Precision. ⚖️✨
Instead of overcomplicating, I focused on the core of the genre: The Countdown. ⏰💣
By using stark black, sharp typography, and that motion-blurred clock, I created a visual "ticking bomb." It tells the reader exactly what they need to know without saying a word: Time is running out, and every second matters. ⏳🌑
As a designer, I don’t just "make covers." I protect an author's identity. I take that 80,000 word manuscript and distill it into a single, high-impact "punch" that stops the scroll. 👊💥
Authors: Your book deserves an identity as unique as your plot. Don’t settle for "standard." Let’s design a hook that nobody can look away from. 🤝🖤
