Recently we collaborated with the team at Big Spring Spirits (Big Spring Spirits) to update their Limited Release series label for their latest release, the Grand Marnier Cask-Finished Wheat Whiskey.

Aged 4 years in American oak + 15 months in Orange Cordial Cask 🍊

This one was a poster for the Cardboards and New Toys from Buffalo NY performing at the Electric Banana.

The Electric Banana was a popular nightclub located in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh that operated from 1977-1999.

One of our local Pittsburgh Creatives, Chloe Simpson, recently produced a fascinating documentary called “Take Up Space”, which is now viewable through WQED! Congrats Chloe!

“Take Up Space” briefly navigates the history of Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood and builds connection to the community through shared stories and creative vision. As described by the artist, it’s “a documentary about a neighborhood, for the hopeful and curious.”

Happy Pride Pittsburgh! 🌈💗

We’re celebrating pride this year by sharing the Pittsburgh Q***r History Project (PQHP). This initiative founded by Dr. Harrison Apple documents Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ+ history and development mainly through the lens of the after-hours night clubs of yesteryear.

The Harriet Stein Collection contains personal ephemera from Harriet’s life in the punk, le***an, and radical political scene in Pittsburgh — which includes a vast selection of punk posters that she pulled from telephone phone poles, some of which I am sharing here!

The Pittsburgh Q***r History Project presently offers a variety of programs for community engagement with the archives, artist collaboration, and skill sharing.
