**Thank You, FBT Foundation**

I am deeply grateful to the FBT Foundation in Willow Park, TX for the opportunity to speak at the PINK Luncheon. Thank you for creating a space where hope, healing, and encouragement can flourish.

Today, I shared how the battles of addiction and cancer, while different, have many similarities. Both can bring fear, uncertainty, pain, and moments when people feel isolated. Yet neither journey is meant to be walked alone. Support, faith, and community make all the difference.

One of the most important messages I hope everyone takes away is this: **You are never alone.** God walks with us through every diagnosis, every setback, every struggle, and every victory.

*"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid... for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."* — **Deuteronomy 31:6**

Recovery is Possible. Hope is Real.

Today I had the privilege of spending time in Flagler County, FL speaking with both individuals at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility and later to members of the community in recognition of Recovery Month.

The day was filled with honest conversations about addiction, recovery, second chances, resilience, and the power of hope. From those currently facing challenges behind the walls of the detention facility to those actively supporting recovery efforts through treatment programs, churches, and community organizations, one message remained clear:
No one is beyond redemption, and recovery is possible for everyone willing to take the next step forward.

Thank you to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Rick Staly, the staff, organizers, and everyone who participated in today’s discussions. Your commitment to supporting recovery, restoring lives, and strengthening families makes a lasting difference in this community.

Grateful for the opportunity to share my story, listen to yours, and celebrate the courage it takes to choose recovery every day.
