Stop calling it a coaching business if it's just you and a calendar.

Quick test: if you went out of town for 2-4 weeks what would happen to your revenue? If the honest answer is "it stops," you don't own a coaching business. You own a job with a nicer title.

Most coaches I meet are brilliant in the room and exhausted outside of it. They rebuild their offer every quarter, write every session from scratch, and carry every client alone. That's not a talent problem. It's a system problem.

What if your next career move wasn’t another job, but something you owned?

Your elevator pitch is dead. It just doesn't know it yet. 😵 Have 30 seconds?

Most people answer "so what do you do?" with a job title and watch the other person's eyes glaze over. That's not a pitch problem, that's a listening problem, because it's about you, and the listener only cares about them.

The fix is what we call the Impact Intro: one sentence that names what you do, who it's for, and the result they get. Not a resume, a result.

Try this: "I [do this] for [them] so that [this happens]." That's it. That's the whole front door. Build your line today, start using it tomorrow. Done and done!

President Grover Cleveland said it plainly: “Honor lies in honest toil.”

That’s not a throwaway line for this long weekend, it’s the whole premise behind Profit. Time. Impact.

Every business owner we coach is chasing more profit. Fewer of them are chasing more time. And almost none of them start out chasing impact, until they realize that’s what the first two were always for.

Labor isn’t the enemy of a full life. Done with the right structure around it, it’s the thing that builds one.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)
