The entire reason we do what we do.
For me, there has never been competition…it’s always been community over competition.
There is enough work to go around, and we can all help by filling one another’s cups.
One of the most important parts of weddings and events is helping couples find the vendors who are truly the right fit for their day. So many of us have different foods, different styles, different decor and different personalities. If I hop on a consultation and immediately feel that a bride may not be the best fit for us, I hope I have someone within my network that I can confidently recommend. And if I don’t, then it’s okay to pass on the event.
These days, it can feel like there’s a lot of competition, but the truth is that not every event is meant for you..and that’s okay.
I often feel like I recommend other businesses more than I recommend my own. The beautiful thing about that is that the incredible small businesses we consistently support are often recommending us right back. Together, we’re helping one another grow.
When couples tell me they wish they could relive their wedding day just so they could spend it with us again, it means the world. When brides and grooms reach out afterward wanting to go on double dates or grab dinner with my husband and me, it reminds me that what we’re building is so much bigger than a business.
More importantly, when couples take time out of the one day that is entirely about them to come over, hug us, thank us, and tell us how much they appreciate us, it speaks volumes.
Every single week, as another event passes, I feel even more certain that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do. And for that, I am incredibly grateful.
Whether you were a stepping stone in helping us get this business started, someone who continuously helps spread our name, or one of the amazing small businesses we have the privilege of working alongside…you have all played an important role in getting us where we are today.
Thank you. We truly couldn’t do this without you. ❤️
