Jordan here- I am Clara’s granddaughter and co-owner of Clara’s Sweet & Sassy BBQ! I wanted to update the followers of this page who may not know our family personally that Grandma went home to be with Jesus on November 5. It was a very unexpected loss and she is so very missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know and love her!

Many have been concerned about what will happen with the BBQ business. I am determined to keep her legacy alive, and Grandpa and I are still making and bottling sauce at this time. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has supported this labor of love over the years. Grandma had many gifts, and creating delicious food for her friends and family was one of her best ones! Stay tuned for an updated list of all the places you can buy or enjoy Clara’s delicious BBQ sauce!

Blue Smoke BBQ will be in Holton on the east side of the Square Friday, March 22. He will there at 11:00. Have some for lunch or take home to serve later this weekend!
