UPDATE!!! WE HAVE A DONOR WHO WILL MATCH ALL MONETARY DONATIONS THAT COME IN TODAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING AT 9:00!!!
Relocation Update: We believe we have found the perfect home for Starfish Project Foundation. The new location (location will not be announced until it is secured) would bring stability and the opportunity for us to expand our services, without the threat of having to move again. With the move also comes expenses we had not planned for. In order to make it all happen, we are looking for community support (the sooner the better), since our last day at the current location is May 22nd. Support could be as little as $5 a month (we currently have people on a fixed income who donate that amount, to help ensure they have a place to get assistance) or anything up to a large pledge amount. We are currently serving between 700 – 800 people a day, and on many days over 1,000. If funds are an issue, here are other ways you can help support our mission:
*Have a fundraiser or donation drive for us
*Select us for your Thrivent Team project
*Ask your company if they do matching donations or have the ability for us to apply for monetary donations
*Consider providing a service for the new location (mowing the grass, snow removal, maintenance)
*Sharing this opportunity with those you know who have the means for monetary support
