Just jumping on here to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday to the mini session fundraiser for Chance & Ashley - my couple who were supposed to get married yesterday, but a near fatal accident has flipped their world upside down. I’m not sure what the final amount was that we raised between all of the online donations, but I know we are right around $1,000 raised. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving on this family.

Another HUGE thank you to the Shaw family for allowing us to use The Hanger at Hocking Hills Scenic Weddings. It was a rainy and drizzly day, but it was the perfect backdrop for the best memories.

And thank you to Madison | Ohio Photographer for hanging out with me and making me feel really tall 😂 thankful for our newfound friendship and that we could do this together! Go give her a follow - she’s an amazingly talented human!! 🤍

Just a little friendly reminder as we head into the busiest season of the year!

I don’t regularly check my personal Facebook Messenger, and with the volume of messages and story replies coming through my business accounts, those can be easy for me to miss, too! The best way to reach me about photography is through the contact form on my website. That way, your message makes it into the right place, and I can keep track of inquiries and make sure I get back to you!

Fall is always such a full and wonderful season for my business, and every year I’m grateful to photograph more families and couples than the year before. 🥹 I’m also intentional about balancing work with homeschooling my kids, caring for my family, and all the other little things that make up everyday life. I’ve learned that having some boundaries with social media and work hours helps me show up better for both my clients and my family.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my little business, and for understanding that there’s a real human behind the camera, doing her best to keep all the plates spinning. 😂🤎

HOMESCHOOL PICTURE DAY

I know you all have been waiting for this! 👀

Thank you for being so patient with me as we were navigating a new season of life as volleyball parents. Now that the season is winding down, I can finally get these on the calendar!

Date: Friday, October 23rd / 12-2pm & 4-5pm
Cost: $50/family (includes all digital downloads & printing rights)
Location: Wilmington, OH

These are not exclusive to homeschoolers, but open to anyone who wants an alternative to school pictures. I hope to host these outside in front of our tree that is always so vibrant every fall (see picture featuring said volleyball player 🤪). I'll have the school desk, a rocking chair, and blanket available along with mums & pumpkins. If the weather isn't ideal, I'll find an alternative indoor location.

As always, your child's safety is always my top priority - your images will be delivered in a private online gallery and you may choose to keep your child's images off social media as well. No questions asked!

Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon! Feel free to share with your homeschool friends or with anyone who would like an alternative to what their school offers!

☐ Work approximately every weekend 😂

Fall Minis at The Hangar / Fundraiser for Chance & Ashley

October 11th was supposed to be a day filled with love, celebration, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for Chance and Ashley, as they prepared to say "I do" in the heart of Hocking Hills.

Instead, a horrific car accident involving Chance has turned their world upside down in unimaginable ways.

Madison and I were honored to be their wedding photographers, and as the day we had all been looking forward to took an unexpected turn, we knew we wanted to find a way to show up for this family. We wanted to honor the day that was supposed to be one of the happiest of their lives while using the gifts we've been given to help support them through this incredibly difficult season.

So, on October 11th, we'll be hosting Fall Minis at the Hangar in Logan, Ohio, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Chance and Ashley as they navigate the days ahead.

Our hope is that this day will be more than just beautiful fall photos. It's an opportunity for our community to come together, surround this family with love, and remind them that they are not walking through this alone.

Thank you for being here, for showing up, and for helping us turn a day that looks different than we imagined into one filled with love, generosity, and community.
