With everything happening on social media, it’s a fair question.

But the more I think about it, the more I come back to the same point:

Social media is where people find you.
Your website is where they decide what to do next.

I've had a few clients ask me recently if, in 2026 with so many people digesting information through social media, Substack and podcasts, they even need a website any more.

My answer - an emphatic yes! Because social media is where people find you, but your website is where the real stuff actually happens.

Plus, it's the one space you actually own, where you're not at the whim of algorithms or shifting rules.

It’s been such a crazy week I almost forgot a GENIUS marketing idea I had when I updated my site a couple of months back. If you can find them all, I’ll pick a winner and offer a free website and brand audit.

Why? Honestly because honestly most people don’t explore all a business has to offer, and I’d like to encourage you to have a proper look around my site.
