What a night. šŸŒ¼šŸ’›

The very first Summer Pickin’ Party reminded us exactly why we love bringing fresh ideas to Downtown Wi******er. Seeing people strolling the square, building bouquets, discovering local shops, and making memories together has had everyone talking all week.

A heartfelt thank you to every participating business that said YES to trying something new, and to every person who bought a ticket, shared a post, invited a friend, and showed up to support local. You are what makes these events possible.

And one more thing… šŸ‘€

For the last three months, we’ve been quietly working on something BIG that we cannot wait to share with this community. It’s designed to help people discover even more of what makes Wi******er so special, and we think you’re going to love it.

Stay tuned… we’re getting close. šŸ—ŗļøāœØ

Why flowers?

Because every stop adds another bloom to your bouquet, just like every small business adds something special to downtown.

One ticket.
One bouquet.
One unforgettable evening.

On July 4, 2025 officers with the Wi******er Police Department investigated an incident at Twin Creeks Village where Mr. John Cobb was struck by a stray bullet and passed as a result. Through the investigation, we found an additional bullet from the Twin Creeks Marina that provided us a possible direction where the shots were fired from. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was able to analyze and determine both rounds were fired by the same firearm believed to be a 7.62x39 or 7.62x54R caliber. Our balistics data shows the shots were fired from the area in gray on the map included. This area includes the subdivisions of the Myers Road area, Country Estates Dr, Cherokee Estates and partially of Franklin Hills. We ask if anyone knows someone that may have fired a round into the air on July 4, 2025 around 9:10 p.m. please contact Detective Ryan Fuller with the Wi******er Police Department. You may also report anonymously to Crimestoppers at 931-962-INFO(4636).
