Met up with Gene Clements of Clements Realty Group, Inc. this after noon for some lunch at the world famous Champions Pub Mean Gene got the steak tips while I had their incredibly delicious rack of ribs (forgot to take a picture 🤷🏼‍♂️). Great service and great atmosphere as usual.

Stopped at the The Antique Table in Lynn last week for a quick dinner. My whole family used to dine at the Antique Table in Winthrop about 10 years ago. The food used to be very good there. Over the years it started to go down in quality. I’m not sure why but I think some of the chefs that made the place what it was, went off and did their own thing. They eventually closed down. The Lynn location stayed up & running though. And about a year ago, a new owner took it over and they saw me at another restaurant and told me to come check it out sometime. I said why no? I live 10 minutes from it, I’ll come in the next time I want dinner and don’t want to go too far.

The place kept its interior and atmosphere the same. The stucco walls with tree branches all over them, antique pictures, very old Italian feel. I’ve always loved the atmosphere at Antique Table. In a world where everything is so modernized now, it’s nice to have a meal in a place that looks like it’s been here for over 100 years. That’s character. The food was pretty solid. Good chicken valdostana. Everyone was satisfied. If you’re in the area, come try em out sometime.

This is the perfect ‘summer beer’ — light, flavorful and refreshing. The taste bears a strong resemblance to a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I’m giving this an 8.9/10 … I highly recommend trying it out.

CIAO in Chelsea is outstanding. Most of you probably already know this, but I finally found out for myself today. They cook their Neapolitan style pizzas for 90 seconds in a 900 degree oven and serve them piping hot. This Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious. 9.2/10 all day long. If you haven’t tried this location yet then get here soon!
