We have been working on the design for Intrism Helix for the last 4 years, and we couldn’t be more excited to show it off today. Three twisted wooden pathways merge together at the core of the puzzle to create not only a visual piece of art, but a fully functional marble maze that bridges the gap between Intrism Pro and Intrism Mini.

Level One and its Pocket Edition 🧩

Even though the new pocket edition model is half the size in each dimension, it uses the same thickness of wood (1/8”) as our other models. This created some challenges in reworking how each piece clicks together.

It was also a challenge to develop a method of packaging to enable the low $9.95 price point while showcasing the product beautifully. We went through a number of prototypes before landing on one that checked all of our boxes. Next week we’ll show off some behind the scenes into more of the development of Level One Pocket Edition.

Say hello to Level One Pocket Edition 🧩 We took our popular Level One marble maze puzzle and shrunk it down to a 2” cube. It has the same amount of pieces and same maze difficulty, but more portable and just a third of the price at just ~ drum roll please ~ $9.95 🔥

We use the same high quality 1/8” birch plywood as our other models but each piece is scaled down in the other two dimensions to create the smaller maze. We tested the build to perfection to ensure that everything snaps and clicks together in the most gratifying way.

We include a new 6mm steel marble, a first in any of our mazes. This is exactly half the size of the marbles we use in our other models.

🚨 Introducing Intrism Icon, our latest marble maze that takes on a new form as a hexagon! It’s a dual layer 3D marble maze kit that doubles as stylish wall art, and it’s available now at Intrism.com (link in bio)

This is our first non-cube marble maze inspired by the hexagon of our logo (or, “icon”). The angles created by this shape make for a very unique joining of pieces as you put it together.

We also wanted to elevate the experience of solving the maze, so the marble can go from the middle of the maze all the way out. This also makes it easy to swap the marble for other fun colors. 🎨
