Our plans? Pedicures, lunch, a few sweet treats, and whatever other fun adventures the day brings. Here’s to another trip around the sun and making memories with the people who matter most. ☀️✨

🎓 Dear McMinnville High School Class of 2016,

Today marks 10 years since we graduated. 10 years. 😳

Some days it feels like graduation was yesterday. Other days, it feels like a lifetime ago.

Looking at these photos, I'm reminded of how little we really knew about where life would take us. We had dreams, plans, and ambitions. We thought we had our futures mapped out.

✨ Then life started writing its own story.

If you had told me on graduation day that my best friend standing next to me in this photo would one day become my wife, I wouldn't have believed you.

📚 If you had told me I wouldn't become a teacher and would instead build a career in marketing, storytelling, and eventually run not one... but two businesses, I wouldn't have believed that either.

But that's the funny thing about life.

The destination often looks nothing like the map you started with.

🏆 Looking back at receiving the leadership inaugural Ashley Acker Award for Altruism, I realize something else. While my career path changed, the things that mattered most never really did.

❤️ Serving others.
🤝 Building community.
✨ Making a difference where I can.

The way I do those things today may look different from what I imagined at 18, but the purpose behind them remains the same.

Life has a way of taking us down unexpected roads. 🚗

There are 🏆 victories, ↩️ setbacks, 🥳 celebrations, 😭 heartbreaks, and 🧠 lessons along the way. Sometimes we understand the reason in the moment. Sometimes it takes years.

But every experience helps shape who we become. 🙌

👑 You can dance, you can jive… and apparently turn a trip to MAMMA MIA! into a full Portland adventure. ✨

My mom and I spent last weekend in Portland to see MAMMA MIA! at the Keller Auditorium. For Christmas, I gifted her tickets to one of our favorite shows, and we finally got to experience it together. 💙🎭🎶

What started as a trip to a show turned into two days of exploring the city. We walked along the waterfront, spotted countless 🪿baby geese, enjoyed an incredible dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse, and spent the evening watching and dancing to MAMMA MIA! 💃 🪩 🕺

The adventure continued the next day with the 🛍️ Portland Saturday Market, 🐉 dragon boat races, coffee and a donut from ☕🍩 Donut Drop, and all the excitement of the Rose Festival. 🌹

Safe to say Portland understood the assignment. Thanks Portland for a great trip! ✨
