As this year comes to a close, I want to say thank you, truly.
Koop Sign Co exists because of this community, because you trusted me with your storefronts, your ideas, your old signs that mattered to you, and your new ones that are just getting started. Every job, big or small, helped keep the lights on and the brushes moving, and I do not take that lightly.
As we head into 2026, we are stepping into our seventh year as a legitimate business, and that milestone means a lot to me. With experience comes clarity, and clarity helps me do my best work.
For the most part, Koop Sign Co is a one man show, with the occasional help from my wife when she is able to jump in. That means every design, every brushstroke, every email, and every install passes through the same hands. Because of that, one of my biggest focuses moving forward is speed, not rushing the work, but tightening the process so signs get out the door faster without sacrificing craftsmanship. Better communication, better scheduling, cleaner turnaround times, respecting your time as much as you respect the work.
With that growth also comes a clear boundary I want to share openly and respectfully. Moving forward, I will only be painting my own designs. This is not about ego, it is about trust in the craft. Asking a sign painter to execute someone else’s design is a lot like walking into a mechanic’s shop with engine parts and explaining how you think they should be assembled, or telling a carpenter how to frame a house because you saw a picture online. You hire a professional for a reason.
My job is to listen, interpret, and create something that fits your business, your space, and your story, using my eye, my experience, and my hands. That is where the best results come from, and that is where I do my strongest work.
I am proud of what has been built so far, but I am even more excited about what is ahead. More consistency, more reliability, faster turnarounds, signs that feel like they belong exactly where they are hung.
Thank you for your patience, your support, your referrals, and your belief in handmade work in a world that moves fast. I am here because of you, and I am committed to showing up stronger, sharper, and more dependable in 2026.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for another year. I cannot wait to make the next one even better.
