💡 Here’s what actually happens when I onboard a new client: (which I'm doing tonight - lets gooo!!)

I build them a simple booking flow using Calendly + Google Calendar (no over-complicated tech).

I connect everything inside Meta Business Manager so we’re set to run ads.

I test it with a fake booking to make sure everything works.
Then… we launch.

Meta ads drive traffic straight to their booking system — and we start collecting leads + filling calendars.

So this was unexpected…

I recently moved to Da Nang, Vietnam — and today I randomly discovered there’s a government-backed AI centre 10 minutes from where I’m staying.

What makes that wild is… I’ve been building my own AI tools in the background — stuff that helps service-based businesses automate bookings, follow-ups, and client messaging. All the boring admin stuff that drains time and energy.

To stumble across a place like that right now, in this exact season of building — just felt like a weirdly perfect sign.

Over the next few months, I’m documenting the process of creating something real — testing it in the wild with actual businesses and sharing everything I learn here.

Last night I had a great meeting with a tattoo shop owner in Da Nang. We walked through their current client journey from first message to final booking.

They are an amazing artists but don’t have a system that can generate and book leads consistently.

We found that;
- Most clients came via walk-ins
- They relied a lot on memory to follow up
- No re-booking or upsell strategy

I mapped out a simple system that I believe will book them out for months. This is something most service based businesses are missing.

From my experience, the best content is content that’s easy to make and enjoyable. If you enjoy what you do, you’ll post it. You won’t let the lack of views, or time constraints of editing stand in the way. For me personally I enjoy content that’s fun, quick to make and quick to edit. It’s funny how sometimes you’ll spend time making something you think is awesome and it fails to get views, yet something with little effort can perform so well. Test out all types of content but make sure it’s content you can make without burning out and enjoy making!
