In the winter of 2023, the Hoje Studio team had a brief but memorable meeting with the founder of the Sola brand. T shared her passion for the taste of Sơn La tea, after exploring several agricultural regions in Vietnam, and her desire to bring this unique flavor to tea lovers in the southern regions. That very afternoon, the journey to bring Sola's dream to life began.
Sola is a project that Hoje Studio was honored to be entrusted with from the very beginning, including developing Naming and the Brand Story. The brand is inspired by the Sơn La region, a place that symbolizes the identity and qualities of the Vietnamese people. Despite its challenging terrain, with high rocky mountains, hills, and narrow valleys, these harsh conditions have not hindered the region’s ability to produce diverse and high-quality agricultural products.
Our Sola project was built based on field surveys of the source areas, with the aim of creating a brand that fully utilizes local agricultural products, delivering authentic products of the highest quality. During a visit to the tea hills, when the farmers began humming traditional tunes and started their work as the sun began to rise, we realized that the best products are the result of passion and dedication from those who craft them.
The name Sola was born from this experience, inspired by the image of the sun (Solar) shining through the melodies (Sol) resonating in the heart of Sơn La, with the desire to convey the love and dedication of the farmers and the production team to the customers.
