This was my most memorable meal of 2025.

hit me with bold southern Thai flavors, fearless heat, and modern spins that felt deeply intentional.

🦐 There was so many great moments, but the showstopper was Tom Yum Kalaya. Spicy, sour lemongrass soup loaded with jumbo river prawns, barramundi, mushrooms, shallots, evaporated milk, chili jam, and herbs. Bright, layered, and impossible to forget.

This place set the bar for Thai food everywhere.

Delicate home-made skins, rich broth, and that perfect steamy slurp made this one of my favorite spots when I lived in Philly. Highly recommend the Lucky Six Soup Dumplings for first-timers.

This Mount Pleasant gem by dear friend, Chef Patrice Cleary, is a vibrant love letter to the Phillipines. From perfect lumpia to comforting pancit canton and crispy lechon kawali, every bite honors tradition and community.

It's been nearly 6 months since my last post for several reasons (like getting hacked), but it's a new year and starting to post again. To kick off 2023, we had the opportunity to celebrate the 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙩 at featuring extravagant décor, a special menu provided by 𝘓𝘶𝘬 𝘍𝘶, and traditional performances like the Lion Dance. 🦁

Special thanks to everyone who checked in over the past several months. We're so thankful for this community. 🙏🏼

When I need a good steak, I know I can depend on Ruth's Chris Steak House. When I really want to treat myself, I get a lobster tail with it. Everything cooked to absolute perfection 🤤
