𝐇𝐞𝐲, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢,😁
the founder of Inkennink Prints, a home-based business right here in Port Vila. Originally from Tanna, I’ve always known that building a business was the path for me, driven by a deep passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. Inkennink Prints was started to showcase that women in Vanuatu can successfully enter the business world if they work hard and have an idea they believe in. Today, we run a custom apparel printing business specializing in creating T-shirts for families, birthdays, events, and business houses using the Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) printing method.

To help grow this passion into a structured business, I applied for the Yumi Growem Vanuatu 4 (YG4) program through V-Lab to help better my understanding and skills for entrepreneurship, and I’m so grateful I was selected to be a part of it. The program gave me vital skills in business, finance, and marketing. I am incredibly thankful to V-Lab for this opportunity, which will help me in the future as well as I grow my business and hopefully venture into other businesses down the road. V-Lab has truly given me a firm foundation and paved a much smoother path for me to walk on.

Besides doing HTV custom apparel, for a long time now, I’ve had a vision to create a modern streetwear brand that fuses traditional Vanuatu attire with everyday clothing. My goal is to feature detailed, semi-realistic digital illustrations on our T-shirts and hoodies, celebrating our culture for both locals and tourists.

Because these new designs are so detailed and colorful, I am officially venturing into Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing to get that vibrant, photo-quality precision. This vision is finally coming to life with our very first personal collection, KASTOM MO KALJA, which will be dropping soon!

Looking ahead, I want to establish Inkennink Prints as a trusted local brand that people can rely on for high quality and unique styles.

Beyond expanding my designs, my ultimate dream is to take this back to my roots and open a physical Inkennink Prints shop back home on Tanna, creating local jobs and giving back to the community that raised me. This is just the beginning of a very exciting chapter, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported me, believed in my vision.
