Alban Fejza is an award contemporary winning conceptual artist, based in Prishtina, Kosovo. The main focus of his work is the delivery of words, graphic design, drawing and photography through print limited opportunities in his country origin. His authentic style provokes casual activities from the world and experiences he inhabits, revealing the sensitivity to the attitudes of contemporary societ
y and twists together into a poetry which examines the relationship between perception and awareness, wildness and the beauty, loyalty and the honest truth about dishonesty. Through digital and handwritten typography, combined with multiple art mediums he brings an easy rebus puzzle that talks and questions the existing human values, lost in hierarchies and global trends. Promoting and supporting feminism as well as women’s power saves him a place in the palace of a future potential. Alban belongs to the branch of a generation of 90’s Balkan kids, dreaming of space and triumph. The short-story version of his kind hits the cities and with a little bit of luck and a lot of work, creates his brand name. But it’s the drive over the details, which definitely draws a more fascinating parallel than that of a mediocre writer, or whatever a person that takes part on his playground can be called. Chasing his role models paths led him to a very hardcore underground music and art scene which kept him researching it in a dozen places all over the continents of flatten or rounded planet. Influenced by dark, emotive and poetic creations, his art work can be considered as a clash between dystopian, controversial and utopian narration. Falling in love with the idea to change the changes while living with the fear or just the thrill of it, he completed BA and MA at the Public University of Prishtina, Department of Marketing, and the PhD at the University of St.Clement of Ohrid, Department of Tourism. As a freelancer, Alban achieved to penetrate through closed circuits and he represented his country in the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and Mediterranean, BJCEM 18. Got his work published in a several national, regional and international Arts events, festivals and yearbooks. Being awarded twice in the biggest design competition in Europe, Design and Design, in Paris, France, made him feel rewarded. Combining the Academic skills, his passions and the urge for more, found him working as an Art Director, Copywriter and Content Creator for the top creative studios, corporations, non-governmental organizations, projects and international franchises that operate in the Republic of Kosovo. Delivering ideas as results which were used over different channels of advertisement, gave him the role of being the person behind, the ghost and the front man of famous ads and commercial campaigns. Being beyond our time, he stamps his emotional, intellectual and epic art with different stigmatizations he continues not to fuss about.
