Met someone interesting at IBM (Introvert Business Mixer) last week.
"I can't believe I actually came," she said.
As an introvert, walking into a room full of strangers...
That was her Mount Everest.

Great conversation about personal branding.
He was fascinated by all the possibilities...

For over a decade, I had been helping subject matter experts build their visibility...
Getting them featured in the media...

I froze.
The irony wasn't lost on me.

I could write full-length articles for clients within an hour.
Once, I even knocked out a press release in 20 minutes because a client needed it urgently.
But when it came to my own content?
Complete paralysis.
Overthinking.
Procrastination.
It was driving me crazy.

The day I helped make "woo-woo" logical
Ever wondered why some brilliant people struggle to get their message across?
It's not because their work isn't valuable.
It's because they're speaking the wrong language.
Let me tell you a story that might change how you think about personal branding forever.
A numerology expert came to me recently.
This guy? He's brilliant.
His methodology has a 95% accuracy rate in helping people make better career decisions, hiring choices, and building relationships.
But he had a problem.
He wanted to expand globally, but kept hitting a wall.
Why?
Because he was using words like "destiny numbers," "karmic numbers," and "manifestation."
And guess what happens when you use those terms with logical, corporate types?
They run. Fast. 🏃‍♂️
Here's where it gets interesting...
I dove deep into his work, reviewing 5 of his books.
What I discovered was fascinating.
His work wasn't "woo-woo" at all.
It was a systematic, research-backed methodology.
But his language was sabotaging him.
So I made some changes.
"Destiny numbers" became became "life story plots.”
"Karmic numbers" transformed into "how today's decisions affect your life path."
"Manifestation" became "setting objectives and finding resonant methods."
Same content. Different language.
And you know what?
It changed everything.
Because here's the truth bomb:
Your expertise means nothing if you can't speak your audience's language.
