New! Horror/Thriller/Spooky Premade
This design was apart of a custom project that the client and I took a different direction. The “bones” of this cover were just too good not to adjust for spooky season and make available for purchase.

How to Purchase:
-Link in Bio for my website contact page
-Direct Email
-Visit my website contact page directly at AshesAndVellichor.com
-Please list your Name, Contact Information, and the Title of the Premade you would like to purchase in your message

I am currently working on multiple custom projects in the month of October and, this will be the last Premade Design I will be listing for a time as I focus my creative energy on completing those.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across a cover.. let’s say on Pinterest, that was a blatant Ai rip off, of my original work. The obvious kind that still holds original pieces that were custom to the authors story and created solely by human typing on her iPhone right here. I report it, fill the form out, provide the copyright to them. It’s removed. And then we start again. But that icky feeling of knowing my work will forever have fed an unregulated system where the end goal is not to CREATE ART, but instead to steal, mimic and profit, that feeling doesn’t go away.

I also refuse to change my IG BIO because my AuDHD really balks at that, so I’m not putting an emoji there either. (shivers at the thought)

Here’s a bunch of designs, human created, conceptualized, and designed by this PNW island dweller of a designer.

super excited to share the cover and details for Leigh Rivers Mortal Minds, Book 2 in the Broken Realms Series .

There were a few versions of this beauty that we went through before finalizing the custom shadow crown but the end design is just . Leigh said maybe a shadow crown? and I said okay well… best way to make this unique is make it myself… then we broke the shadow crown. And now you have the cover. Tada! With whorls of smoke, metallic wire, onyx edges, and black & diamonds I love how it all came together for this second cover design.

Between football practices, traveling for games on weekends, school, the never ending doctor appts and scheduling of said appts.. I haven’t made new content.

SO! Here’s available premade cover designs ( some new, some from the way back machine) to feed the algorithm so I don’t become an obsolete millennial designer.

Pocket Tools For {Book} Cover Designers: Very Specific to this AuDHD Designer.. but may also apply to {you}!!

-Caffeine because the meds only go so far guys
-Charge EVERYTHING, Better yet have backups
-I use an Apple Studio Magic Trackpad but the local Stock Mart didn’t have a commercial image so there’s a mouse for ya.
-Drawing Tablet/Screen pen. I prefer and use a Wacom One but whatever fits in your pocket.
-Okay Keyboards can’t fit in your pocket yet.. wait.. actually ….🧐 But I use an Apple Studio Keyboard. It makes my sensory happy.
-Pens,Pencils, jot those notes on scrap paper. The husband bought me super fine point Japanese pens and my handwriting thanks him.
-To Do List, honestly… I may lean into the ADHD stereotype a bit toooo hard with this one. Next item please!
-Material Swatch Books are THE BEST. Also distracting if you love shiny things.

I’m sure I missed a plethora of things, but this is a non serious social media post so it’s not that deep. Unless your pockets are.. and then you can probably stuff more tools in there.

I LOVE seeing how premade cover designs transform into an authors story. This was always one of my favorite little cutesy grunge designs and I am so happy to see it getting a hardcover edition for Cailin Cecchini book, The Ghost Story of Tristan & Delores.

With perfectly matched 90s vibes, a ghosty lead singer and an unsolved case this design found a perfect home.
