EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | Sunrise Coaching⁠

The client required an executive summary PDF to send to potential clients via email or to use as print outs at various workshops. We designed a document that uses the most important content and design elements from the homepage to create an executive summary of the business and service offerings including a call-to-action at the bottom to inform potential clients on how to get started.⁠

📓 Behind the Brand: Sunrise Coaching⁠

BRANDING | Sunrise Coaching is a brand new business and required a brand identity. The client wanted to elude to the sunrise name without being too literal so we designed a continuous line bird graphic with a subtle gradient background as a nod to sunrise. The bird represents how coaching will help potential clients find their wings and the line from the body of the⁠
bird to the top right corner has an upward trajectory which illustrates the journey of personal growth. We used a mix of script and bold fonts, along with a trendy colour palette to make a big impact.⁠

Being a new business, it was vital that the information was presented in a clear and organized manner so that the user is able to learn about Sunrise Coaching and Melissa, with ease. It was also important to align the website design with the branding and create a feeling of inspiration with the use of imagery and quotes. ⁠

📓 Behind the Brand: Massage Solutions⁠
⁠
DESIGN | Updating the website design for a more cohesive look was an important part of the rebuild. Massage Solutions now has a branded colour palette and imagery that projects a sense of calm and healing and better reflects Penny and her business. We put together a fresh and calming colour palette of various muted greens, light blue and a bright avocado green to draw the user’s eye to the call-to-actions.

BRANDING | The client had some basic branding that needed a refresh so we created a simple flat design of stacked rocks to accompany the existing logo. Three stacked rocks are synonymous with massage therapy and represent the three components of wellness: body, mind and soul.

From the Client's Mouth: An Educational Series ✏️

"I'm just sending you the high res logo. It's in word, is that ok?"

The quick answer: No, it's not okay 😂

Word is primarily used for word processing or text based documents. It was not built for graphics and can do very little for you in terms of graphic design. Word doesn't have the ability to save your logo with a transparent background or properly size it for various print marketing or web applications.

Graphic designers typically use Illustrator or sometimes Photoshop to design, edit and size logos, resulting in an image that will be sharp at any size. It's important that you ask your designer for an Illustrator file of your logo so that other designers can edit it and use it in future projects.
