Back in 2018 I competed in a rowing regatta. I almost didn't join the rowing team at the start of the year but I put my excuses and fears aside and worked my b***y off to be in that race. You can see it on my face how psyched I was just to be there even though myself and 3 other girls were about to row in perfect unison 2000 meters to the finish line! 🚣🏽‍♀️😚

My point...

Don't settle for the easy comfortable life.
Trust me there are WAY more smiles when you achieve what you set out for!💪🏽🔥

'That is WAY out of my Comfort Zone'

Who else has felt or thought this?
This is a feeling I get often.💆🏽‍♀️

There is always a risk factor in most things we do and that feeling of fear to go along with it...

So why risk?!

Stepping out of that comfort zone helps overcome your fears and achieve goals. 💫

By tearing down the limiting beliefs and fears I had set for myself I now know what I want and exactly how I am going to achieve it.💥

Staying in your comfort zone won't help you grow.

Self care is something I want to focus on more this coming week.

So often it is easy to get wrapped up with work and the drama that is life that you find yourself with no free time to do the things you truly want to do.🌀

SO... Go on that hike,
meditate,🧘🏽‍♀️
take that bubble bath,🛁
or go get that massage...💆🏽‍♀️

Try to take at least 20 minutes a day doing something for yourself that feels like giving yourself a big hug.

Whatever makes you feel loved and motivated within. Connect with yourself and your needs to raise your vibration. 💕

So how can I fulfill my goals if I'm constantly just trying to keep up every month with the set amount that I'm given?

I am not about to go back to school for another however many years! I don't even know what I would go back for? I will still probably be stuck working a corporate job!❌

Wanted to take a moment because I am coming up on 2 years since I earned a biochemistry degree and got a job at a biotech lab🎓, while I enjoy what I do I always felt I could do more...

Now, after 2 years, rather than coming home from working 8+ hours for someone else and just watching Netflix for the rest of the night, I am breaking FREE of the cycle and investing some of my free time back into myself!💥

I was 8 years old when my family decided to move to California.🌴🛫

My folks were the happiest when we lived there. We have NEVER been back since, mainly because of Money and Time.💸

My goal in 2022 it to progress myself to the point of having the financial freedom and time to travel to places I have been longing to explore and re-visit. ✨
