Ever since we first collaborated with Lobak Loon on a film for Khazanah Nasional back in 2024, we knew we’d someday want to pick his award-winning brains.

And that’s exactly why we lured him to our space for our first ever in-house upskilling session. He gave us a masterclass in Storytelling 101, and enlightened us with invaluable behind-the-scenes scoop on how he made the magic that was the 2026 Julie’s Raya Film.

Lots of notes were taken, heaps of questions were asked, and honestly, what a fruitful session it was. Thank you, , for being so generous with your time and wisdom. Sessions like these remind us why we love our creative industry so much.

One week. One Xforce. A bunch of very willing drivers.

We spent a good amount of time with Mitsubishi’s latest offering and it’s pretty evident how it can totally Rise Above in a pretty packed compact SUV segment.

But of course, a bit of a casual shoot would be obligatory, and it took us to the rather underrated yet scenic coastal stretches between Morib and Tanjung Sepat.

The Xforce felt PERFECT for a route like this. The way it blends comfort, engagement and the confidence of a higher driving position feels so spot on. Big thumbs up for the punchy and very full-sounding Yamaha audio system as well, it filled our gallivanting with just the right amount of Xtra vibes, especially considering the price range.

And, yes, we spent an embarrassing amount of time watching the AYC do its thing on the telemetry display - the car nerds among us were most entertained.

There was never a grand masterplan for the 'where'. Every space just sort of became a chapter in our story, a gem in the rough that we were dead set on refining. While it may have started with borrowed desks and whatever space that welcomed us for the day, that story evolved into a beast with it's own mind – bigger milestones, unexpected challenges, and moments that shaped all of us.

Now this new address? It's given us the space to appreciate how far we've come, yet leaves room for everything still ahead. Not because of the walls that surround us, but because of the people, conversations and ideas that continue to fill them.

3 Decades. 1 Future.
Some stories are measured in years. Others are measured in the people, memories and moments collected along the way.

We had the privilege of helping bring the celebration of Lotus Cars Malaysia’s 30-year journey to life. An evening that paid tribute to not just the cars, but the enthusiasts, racers, owners and pioneers who helped shape the brand’s story in Malaysia.

From heritage icons that defined generations of drivers to the exciting future that lies ahead, it was a reminder that the most enduring legacies are built through the communities that drive them forward.

POV: Life lately feels like a reality TV series.

First to admit here that this BTS reel was a fun trend to jump on in light of our move. On that note, here are some trivial observations from the chaos:

☕️ We own significantly more mugs than employees.
✂️ Nobody ever knows where the scissors is.
🖇️ We do not need to keep every paperclip we’ve acquired since 2019.
📃 Old printed brochures are surprisingly difficult to throw away.
🔌 We have a lot of cables that nobody dares to dispose of.
✍🏻 We keep every marker because “it still works”.

Some recent, just-for-fun, AI-assisted research reminded us that the average person will spend over 90,000 hours working in their lifetime (nearly a third of it). When you sit with that number, it starts to mean something.

It’s sparked some honest, unhurried conversations among us about alignment; the quiet work of knowing what we value as individuals, and the shared work of honouring those values together as colleagues and friends.

Because the two aren’t separate. The choices we make privately - how we show up, what we stand for, what we refuse to compromise on - are exactly what we bring into the room with everyone else.

Individual integrity is the raw material of collective identity.

So today, we raise a quiet toast to the everyday choices that don’t make headlines: the ones made at desks, in meetings, over coffee, and across Slack messages. They’re what make the hours count, and what make us, us.

Somewhere between the contagious laughter and second helpings, it reminded us why we do this every chance we get.
