Το Πάρκο Εργατιάς στο 12ο Chania Film Festival!

🎙️ Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσουμε ότι το δεύτερο επεισόδιο «Ένας Σύνδεσμος από το Παρελθόν» της σειράς ηχητικού ντοκιμαντέρ «Πάρκο Εργατιάς» θα παρουσιαστεί στο Podcast Room του 12ου Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Χανίων, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 16 έως τις 27 Οκτωβρίου στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο Χανίων.

Το «Πάρκο Εργατιάς» είναι ένα ηχητικό ντοκιμαντέρ έξι επεισοδίων που ρίχνει φως στην ιστορία του εργοστασίου των Λιπασμάτων στη Δραπετσώνα και τις ζωές των ανθρώπων που σημάδεψε. Το δεύτερο επεισόδιο εστιάζει στον εργατικό οικισμό του εργοστασίου, όπου η Γεωργία και η Στέλλα μοιράζονται προσωπικές ιστορίες καθημερινότητας, αλληλεγγύης και ανθεκτικότητας απέναντι σε σημαντικά γεγονότα του 20ού αιώνα που διαμόρφωσαν την περιοχή.

Το επεισόδιο θα διαγωνιστεί στην κατηγορία «Ελληνικό Ντοκιμαντέρ Podcast», και είναι μεγάλη μας χαρά να συμμετέχουμε σε ένα φεστιβάλ που τιμά την τέχνη της αφήγησης, δίνοντάς μας την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσουμε το έργο μας σε μια μεγάλη δημιουργική κοινότητα.

Labour Park goes to CFF12!

🎙️ We’re excited to announce that Episode 2: "A Bond From the Past" from our audio documentary series, “Labour Park”, will be featured in the Podcast Room at the 12th Chania Film Festival, taking place from October 16 to 27 at the Cultural Centre of Chania, Crete.

“Labour Park” is a six-episode audio documentary exploring the history of the Drapetsona Fertilizer Factory and the lives of the people it marked. Set in the factory workers’ settlement, this episode shares the personal stories of Georgia and Stella, who reflect on life, solidarity, and resilience during key events of the 20th century that shaped the region.

The episode will compete in the Greek Podcast Documentary category, and we’re honored to be part of this prestigious event that celebrates powerful storytelling and share our work with such a talented community of storytellers and film enthusiasts.

“Labour Park” is a production of Spoovio in collaboration with Lipasmata Park, the Lifelong Learning Centre of Keratsini – Drapetsona, COMM’ON and the Municipality of Keratsini – Drapetsona. It was carried out with the grant of the Ministry of Culture.

Excited about the launch of the "At the Clean Energy Frontier" project by Climate Home News.

The Clean Energy Frontier is a series of six deeply reported stories from reporters around the world shining a light on the supply chains which produce clean energy technologies, such as batteries for electric vehicles, solar panels, and wind turbines.

Spoovio took over the overall graphic design and platform development of the project.

The first three investigations will be published weekly from 23 January. The next round of three stories will be published in the spring.
