𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟒𝐭𝐡 & 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡!

Since losing the Safeway in Point Grey Village a number of years ago, local residents have speculated on what new development might rise in its place at the heart of our community. Well, the wait is finally over!

BentallGreenOak will present their plans to redevelop the site in two public sessions next week on Tuesday, May 24th, and Wednesday, May 25th!

If you would rather attend the In-Person Session on May 25th, it will be held in the West Point Grey United Church Gym (4595 W 8th Avenue) from 5-7PM.

Once BentallGreenOak has presented their plans next week, and has solicited early comments from the community, they will submit a formal Rezoning Application to the City of Vancouver. The application will then proceed through the city’s regular public engagement process. This will include signs being posted on site, information on the proposal being posted on the city’s ‘Shape Your City’ website, along with an additional open house hosted by the City of Vancouver.
