When Columbus City Council passed the Salary History Ban — a law prohibiting employers from asking job applicants about their pay history — they needed Columbus residents and employers to know about it.

To promote this critical step toward addressing wage inequality, Hunter developed a bold, cohesive visual identity and multi-channel campaign that translated a complex piece of legislation into clear, accessible information for Columbus residents and employers.

The City of Columbus Department of Public Service has nearly 800 employees keeping its city running every day, and they wanted an engaging social media series that offered residents a peek behind the curtain into their operations.

Hunter created “BTS with DPS,” a behind-the-scenes video series that showed Columbus residents the wide range of services DPS offers and the dedicated staff behind them. From pothole repairs to traffic signal testing and litter tracking, this series highlighted the people and work that often go unnoticed.
