After iPhone users install iOS 14.5, when they open any app that wants to access a device ID called the Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA, they will see a pop-up. The pop-up will ask if they want to be tracked and give them an opportunity to opt in. Companies that rely on online advertising, especially Facebook, have said that the privacy change will reduce the effectiveness and profitability of targeted ads and potentially roil the online advertising business.

Apple said Tuesday it will roll out iOS 14.5 for the iPhone next week, including App Tracking Transparency, the privacy feature Facebook is worried about.

There eventually will have to be a new app that tracks Apple Products when it comes to your data. This will greatly effect how small businesses can study their reach and effectively measure it.

Luckily, we are on top of things. You'll notice your reach is 'down' but that's just not true. If it were, then you would see a major shift in the interactions when it comes to likes/comments/shares and that has clearly not been affected!
