I love my job because it’s the perfect blend of curiosity, novel solution making and interaction with people - seeing, seeking and making connections and helping others do the same with ease. My ten years’ teaching experience, my three children, two of whom are diagnosed with additional needs, and my own journey seeking work where I can make a difference all feed into the broad range of experience
I bring to connect with a diverse audience. What gets me into work every day is the opportunity to represent a wide range of people and businesses, to explore upcoming or trending issues, as well as connect with policy makers and people who can make change. I am passionate about access for all – be that access to information, access to good mental healthcare, access to support to find the right role or employee. For me, it’s about trying to make life as fair, open, fulfilling and enjoyable as possible for all regardless of disability, gender, ethnicity, race or creed. My lived experiences make me particularly passionate about working with, and advocating for, autistic people, anyone riding the ADHD roller coaster, neuro-diverse individuals such as myself and everyone on a journey to improve their mental health.
