The size of the hare hare is quite large: body length – 58-68 cm, tail – 7-12 cm, ears – 11-14 cm, average weight – 4-6 kg. The animals swim well, jump a long distance, develop a straight line speed of up to 60 km/h. They are found in woodlands, forest-steppes, tundra, steppes. Hares feed on a variety of plant species (about 50), tree bark, withered grass.
