Advertising Experiment:

Trained Meta Pixel vs. Fresh Meta Pixel
I wanted to see how much a trained Meta pixel actually matters.

So I ran a fun little experiment:

🧪 Both campaigns launched at the exact same time
🎨 Same ads
💰 Same budget
📈 Same creatives

The only difference?

One pixel had over $10,000 in lifetime ad spend.

The other was completely new, a clean slate.

Here’s what happened 👇

Old (Trained) Pixel

💰 Spent: $342
🔗 Link Clicks: 217
🎯 Conversions: 96
💸 Cost per Conversion: $3.56

New (Untrained) Pixel

💰 Spent: $341
🔗 Link Clicks: 182
🎯 Conversions: 67
💸 Cost per Conversion: $5.09

Results:

➡️ 43% more conversions with the trained pixel
➡️ 19% more link clicks
➡️ 30% lower cost per conversion

So yes, a trained pixel really does learn.

It’s not just tracking… it’s teaching Meta who to find.
