Headspace for kids
Headspace for kids is an app, website and printable material I created for the brand extension of the app Headspace. This app is a safe space for kids to go to online for free and support them with their mental health during covid lockdowns. There was a missing target market for kids aged 4-12 with their mental health and the support that’s out there during covid. I have such a passion for supporting mental health and creating meaningful illustrations so this project was something that’s really important to me.

Photography
The aim for this project was to create a photo book that consists of different photographic images and making sure we tick off different camera techniques and lighting. My theme for this photography book was the four elements, fire, earth, water and air/wind.

Publication
This project was about creating a publication on a certain topic related to design history and ways to create products. I chose handcrafted as I am very passionate about the hard work that goes into handcrafted items and materials. I appreciate the work of items that have had passion and hard work put into them so creating a publication on this topic was something I was very excited to do. The focus was on the placement of images and typography, making it graphically pleasing, have a strong layout and also have an added twist or craft added to it. I chose to add in a smaller book inside the larger book and use a scalpel to calve out triangles in the front of the book.

Album re-design
This project was a re-design of an album cover we got to choose which was a really fun assignment. I was able to get really creative with my use of illustrations and mediums used to portray the music through the cover. That was a really important aspect of the re-design was listening to the album and truly feeling the music and how I could portray that visually through the cover. Below is the cover I re-designed: Xavier Rudd – Spirit Bird.

Paper Bags
This project’s aim was to re-design this paper bag for an item/s that can fit inside comfortably and know what’s inside the bag without opening it. From the illustrations on the paper bag you can see there is a scent of some sort in there. As you discover the bag further, the 3 packs are filled with different essential oil roller, sprays and diffuser bombs to support your immune system and mood. The aim was also to display the artwork as flats to show how they would be set up for print and what elements need to be included to print them successfully.
