I went to a Metallica concert although - I don’t like metal? What the hell? 🎸
And I had an absolute blast…
I listen to pretty much most genres of music, but one thing I’ve never really understood is metal. To me, it’s just a bit too chaotic and loud. And moshpits are my literal nightmare.
But SOMEHOW, metal keeps finding its way into my life.
(Perhaps my partner’s obsession with it has something to do with that?🤪)
I just think there’s something so fun about experiencing all aspects of music and art.
You’ll catch me going to classical concerts, pop, country, dancing salsa, Czech traditional music and dance. Visiting Castles, all sorts of landmarks and museums… Why?
- because art is meant to evoke emotions, inspire you, make you feel alive. Not just happiness but the full spectrum of human emotion.
So why not try it all and see it all while we’re on this planet for such a short time?
You’ll love some of it and connect with it, hate some of it, but some things might just surprise you.
Why do we like to categorise ourselves into a specific genre fandom? Like, if you like it, you like it!
Art’s supposed to fill you with inspiration, and let me tell you, this concert surprised me and did just that.
Creativity doesn’t just appear out of nowhere. You have to go out and collect experiences to draw inspiration from.
Ten years down the line, there might be something I remember from this concert that inspires another piece of art. Who knows?
So anyway… Live life, and if anything-
Take this as a nudge to get out of your comfort zone and look for happiness in places you’d never think of going 🫶
And then tell me all about it!
