Happy Sunday! Let's talk about a deep dive that surprised even me. I found myself sucked into an anime called "Windbreaker." (Yeah, you read that right!)

Long story short, it's about a skilled fighter named Sakura who's all about proving his strength. He enrolls in Furin High, a school rumored to worship raw power over smarts. (Sound familiar? Hustling in the freelance world can feel the same sometimes!) Sakura's mission? Become the top dog.

Here's the twist: I got hooked because of the aesthetic – NEON GREE AND GRUNGY TEXT, just like my brand! (Shallow? Maybe a little, but hey, it works!)

While watching, a line from the current school top dog, Umemiya, struck me: "Your punches are light, you know why that is? Because there's nothing behind them." (Mic drop!)

It got me thinking – are some of us throwing weak punches at our dreams? We might look like we're hustling, but deep down, there's no real foundation, no "why" driving us. Maybe we're chasing an outcome that sounds good but doesn't quite fit our path.

This made me reflect: Are my own punches landing heavy, or do I need to reconnect with my WHY? (Time for some serious goal recalibration!)

Hey I'm back!

Remember all that preaching about "ideal clients" and "putting yourself out there"? Yeah, me neither for a while. Client work became a black hole, and burnout snuck up like a rogue algorithm change.

Truth bomb: I wasn't living by my own advice. (But hey, we've all been there, right?)

But guess what? I took a deep breath, reconnected with my WHY, and the fire is back! It's time to create content that truly inspires and empowers YOU!

𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠

This month, I've been thinking about the projects I've done. Being the overthinker that I am, my mind considered how much work remains to be done and how far I needed to develop. I, too, had a period where I couldn't stop comparing my achievement to those of others. To be honest, I became overwhelmed to the point that I began to doubt myself and my skills, questioning if I could actually perform the services that I do. When you think about the things you believe you lack, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.

Took the time to reflect on why I do the things I do. Touching on bases & roots. 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦

No, my self-doubt did not vanish in the blink of an eye. I'd be lying to you if I said it did.

What I did discover was a better understanding of myself and my slow but steady growth. And that, in my opinion, is a WIN.

This quotation really stuck with me.

No one ever told me that being left on your own thoughts can sometimes be bad for you. This is especially true to me, as a person who most of the time avoid actual in-person social interaction.

As an overthinker, we (I) are (am) rooted to predict things and outcomes to go a certain way... Usually on a negative route.

This is the time I realized that I am entangled by my 𝘓𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧𝘴.

Often time than not, we limit ourselves to the things that we think we can't do without even trying to dip our toes on the water.

As Mary Kay said, "... 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦". Stop focusing on the ultimate end goal and start taking steps to achieve it.

Instagram has grown tremendously and continues to do so every day. With this, you may ask,“𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙢 𝙄 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙞𝙨?”

Here are a few reasons why you aren't getting Instagram followers, and fixes to said issue(s).
