What story does your brand TELL?
No, I don't mean what you say.
I don't mean what you write in your content or what you speak in your videos.
I mean, what does it tell, beyond words? What does it convey? ✨
How does make people FEEL? What story does it TELL?
As you know, we perceive reality through the senses (obviously NOT 5 😆), and those are what our subconscious interpret as feelings.🧠
So, what sensations and feelings is your brand conveying?
And as you may know, colors affect those sensations (through a synesthetic phenomenon as all our senses are interconnected!), reinforcing them or disrupting them, so colors have a huge impact on the sensations and feelings your brand conveys. 🌈
This means that, through colors, your brand is conveying sensations to people that make them feel different feeling (hence emotions, as internal responses to those feelings!) when you're around, reinforcing or weakening your brand message at a subconscious level.🧠
Often, what brands say and what they tell, aren't aligned... Causing incongruency in their message. Which leads to their audience not having a "this feels right" type of feeling!
Or making them less memorable...

Waves of light entering your body. 🌈

Choosing brand colors based on what they "think" they mean, is one of the worst mistake entrepreneurs do.
Colors is energy.
Emotion.
Embodiment of your soul message.💚
Colors are the language of the subconscious.
I NEVER create color palettes for my clients that

❌ Follow trends

❌ Look similar to others in their industry (the aim is to stand out and be memorable, not blend in. Colors are one of the most powerful tools to create memorability)

❌ Mean something at a "logical" level (like, blue means trust, red is passion etc..)
Instead, I create color palettes in a strategic way that:

🌈 Convey their vibe, energy, and personality

🌈 Make their audience FEEL emotions (color association is super important for this!). Deep connection are felt, not told.

🌈 Shape sensorial perception for their core message to be felt, beyond words

🌈 Specifically speak to their ideal client's heart. (Not mind!)
When someone checks your website/page out, their subconscious will feel if you're right for them within MILLISECONDS, waaayyyy before they even read your name or anything you say...🤷🏻
(The subconscious is much faster than the rational mind! ⚡)
Many of my clients were attracted by my colors.
Because my colors express SO MUCH MORE than what the conscious mind realises.
Because the aim when creating a brand and choosing how to express it, especially through colors, is to convey your uniqueness and specific core values your clients resonate with (it attracts more aligned clients!), and you do this not through what you say, but by making your people FEEL your message, to create deeper, more meaningful connections. 💚
Colors have a massive impact on our thoughts, behavior, emotions, and decisions...

I'm putting hundreds of hours in designing a book that will help you choose the *right* colors for you brand, so you can truly express your essence at a deeper level. 💚
It's a whimsical story (obviously 😁), with a practical playbook that involves a step-by-step process in defining the brand core, your main archetypes, and choosing the colors to truly reflect your energy.
It is focused on the psychology and energy of the archetypes (I'm using the 12 brand archetypes for simplicity, although it will encompass many different aspects and expand into the bigger picture) and comes with 36 moodboards to help you get inspired, feel the energy of the archetypes from different angles and embody them.
Each moodboard has a color palette and a simple chromasense expression (how to use the colors to convey specific sensations, to make your storytelling more immersive!) 🌈
Each chapter will take you through a step of the process, to help you build from the foundation all the way to your own magical expression.
It will be available in October/November, hopefully. (It's a hell of a journey, lol).
I've been asked to create something that encompasses both the psychology and the energy of the archetypes, and I've listened. 👂🏻
I've been asked so many times how to find the right colors, to convey something more meaningful and deeper at a subconscious level.💚
I didn't want to write a theoretical book. I wanted (as you know me) something practical. And of course, I wanted something colorful, fun, and beautiful! 😍
I cannot tell you the challenges in putting this book together, as for me, this has always been such an intuitive process, for 20+ years.
Translating emotions and values into colors, immersive stories, and sensorial stimuli has always been the way my brain works. 🧠
It's just the way I perceive the world, and express myself.
Of course, as an artist, photographer and designer, I've researched, experimented, and optimized the process for about 15+ years, while the neuroscience and psychology aspect of it has been helping me explore it further for the past 20+ years.
(If you aren't sure about my level of nerdiness, I'm a certified color consultant, and wrote a thesis on the neuroesthetics, visual and color perception in 2013 🤓 lol)
Yet, these things are so ingrained in the subconscious, they're just who I am and how I do things, without any conscious awareness.
They are absorbed and it's so so difficult to translate those processes into practical steps for others to replicate...
(And I know so many of you understand this, as intuitive beings!)
Creating courses helped me tremendously in bringing awareness to my approach, (thank you Tincuta Nitu - Tini 💚 ) yet the color part has always eluded me, as it is such an unconscious skill that it's been very difficult to share the HOW.
This book has been in my mind for the past 3-4 years (actually, about 10 in a very vague format!), and I'm finally on it.
Embracing the challenge.😆

How to stick to your audience's minds... And hearts! 💚
First of all... What does it even mean?
Well, I mean that you have created a space in the mind of your audience, and they have associated you with an idea at a subconscious level, so you are now living in a wonderful mansion, rent-free, in their brains. (This is the way my clients explain it, and I think is the best way!)
In other words...
Let's talk about coffee... ☕
If I say "Starbucks" there's a very specific idea that comes to mind for you. You might think of coffee, but the idea you relate to it is not the same as if I say "Nestcafe".
They both relate to coffee but the idea around the experience is very different.
They have a clear position in your mind. The feelings, associations, and vibe you attribute to them, are very different. Right?
If you catch up with a friend in the afternoon, you won't propose a Nestcafe shop... you're most likely to meet at a Starbucks.
Yet, if you want to gift your coffee-lover friend a nice present, you're more likely to go to Nescafe and buy a machine, rather than gifting them a Starbucks coffee cup 👀
If I'm invited to a whale wedding under the sea, and I want a special handmade dress with seahorses patterns...
Will I go to H&M or to the little shop down the street where they make tailored dresses with tailored patterns, specializing in whale wedding guest dresses??
Now, most entrepreneurs get scared when they think of "niching down" or "being specific". And even if we don't like to admit it, we are actually scared of standing out and doing things differently, being ourselves for real, and showing the imperfect person behind the curated services.
This is why trends work so well.. It's easier to follow than to lead...

But the more specific you are, the more TRULY authentic you are... And the MORE you become sticky!
Let's say that you're a hair stylist...
There are sooooooo many hair stylists... Millions!
But if you're the one who specifically helps curly, blonde hair women finally get straight, dark hair, all of the people who identify with these details and want that outcome will be way more comfortable coming to you because they know you are specifically helping them.
Not just anyone.
If you fit in the description would you go to any hair stylist to help you, or would you feel more aligned with someone who has already helped other people with the exact same situation?
If you were to do a bright blue color on your hair, would you go to a hairdresser who doesn't really do bright colors, or to someone who's known to specialize in bright colored hair?
So, positioning means that your ideal client has a specific idea in their mind as to why they would work with you. And they can easily make this connection.
As soon as this blonde person decides they want dark hair, the subconscious will pop up this thought... You!
Now, the benefits of having strategically positioned your brand, are:
🐳 People connect you with a specific situation, solution and outcome they desire, so it's easier to be on top of mind (rather than posting daily on social media or spending so much energy and time marketing... Less work, more aligned clients, more fun!!)
🌈 Because you're more specialized, you can raise your prices and you won't get many objections... Would you be willing to pay more for a hand-made dress that no one else can do? Or would you expect them to charge a cheap price as if it were a mass-produced item?
💚 You don't have to be "omnipresent". When you have a clear message that strongly positions your brand in their mind, and also connects with your audience at a deeper emotional level, it means that they remember you even if they don't see you everywhere, all the time.
Do you need to talk to your best friend daily to think of them when you want to go out with a friend?
I have friends that I haven't seen in YEARS. When we meet, is like we were together yesterday. Why? Because of the emotional bond we have.
A person who's not deeply connected with me, after not seeing me for years, might not even recognize me 👀
🌈 You stand out!
Do you also notice those people who wear weird looks? Or that shoe shop that is so uncommon and different from all the other shoe shops?
Why is that? Because they are not like the others. So when you're being yourself, and you unleash your creativity, you are leveraging your "differentiator factor".
This reinforces your positioning in people's mind, because you grab their attention.
And once people notice you and you're different, they are more likely to remember you....
And once you have the attention of someone, it's easier to create a stronger bond!

4 examples of how you're repelling your most aligned clients through Subconscious communication:
🏝️ Freedom is one of your main brand values, but your sales page includes text enclosed in squares with no much padding. Or filled in a darker color.
This means you talk about freedom, but you show the opposite, communicating an incongruent message to your audience, who doesn't PERCEIVE the sense of freedom you promise.
🪶 You talk about decluttering, creating space, cleansing, but your sales page or social media posts have a lot of text with little space, or you use darker colors.
You are communicating a sense of heaviness which is the opposite of what you want your audience to feel on your presence.
✨ You talk about spiritual alignment, holistic health or clear vision, but your communication is not flowing through all your touch points.
Your graphics, colors, style of images, and messaging is somewhat choppy.
You're saying something while making people feel the disconnection in your own presence.
🌈 Your vibe is energetic and joyful but you're talking to the people who are stuck, so your vocabulary includes a lot of words like "not, stuck, pain" and other words that feel the opposite of energetic and joyful.
This creates a discrepancy between the energy you convey and the energy of your messaging.
Your brand should communicate a very clear, powerful, congruent vibe throughout your presence. In the small and the big things...
Does it mean it has to be "perfect"?
No, it's not about perfect. Absolutely not!
