And just like that… another summer camp season is coming to a close! ☀️

The majority of our clients wrapped up camp today, and from a marketing perspective, that means one thing: take a second to celebrate… and then start looking ahead.

You made it through weeks of camp photos, videos, daily updates, schedule changes, last-minute pivots, parent communication and nonstop content. Now is the time to look back at what worked, what didn’t, what content performed best, what you wish you had captured, and what you want to do differently next summer.

And while camp may be ending, fall marketing is already here — back to school, programs, holidays, events and everything that comes with a new season.

To the programs with one more week to go: hold on. You’re almost there! 😂

As summer comes to a close and I begin thinking about the High Holidays approaching—a time of year that is so meaningful, exciting, and, inevitably, a little chaotic—I can’t help but think about our history.

Every High Holiday season feels important and memorable, but this year I find myself thinking about something more deeply: we are losing our Holocaust survivors. There will come a time, much sooner than we want to imagine, when they will no longer be here to tell us their stories in their own words. It will be our responsibility to carry those stories forward.

So I encourage you, Jewish or not, to learn about someone’s life. Learn their experience, their survival story, or even the painful story of someone who did not survive. Say their name. Know what happened to them. Allow their story to continue living through you.

And as difficult as these stories can be, share them. Bring them to your dinner tables. Tell them to your children. Talk about the lives that were lived, the families that were lost, the people who survived, and the strength it took to rebuild.

Because “Never Again” and “Never Forget” go hand in hand.

Remembering is not simply about looking back. It is part of how we protect the future. We carry these stories because they mattered, because those lives mattered, and because we must continue to stand up for the survival, safety, and future of the Jewish people.

If I have to wear the neck brace, fine. But apparently we’re still making the bun happen. 😂 Sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got.

One of the best parts of what I do? My “office” is rarely just an office. Sometimes work means a laptop and a Zoom call, and sometimes it means getting to spend the day surrounded by incredible views, communities and people. 💙

Last night turned into such a fun little Huntington experience. ✨

We started at The Shed Restaurant - Foodies and were genuinely blown away by how many gluten-free options they had, then spent a little time walking around and taking in the area before stopping at Alkemy Ice Cream for ice cream.

And then we headed to The Paramount in Concert with Northwell for Matisyahu 💙

The Jewish pride at the concert was incredible to see. So many people had something uniquely theirs—a Star of David, an evil eye, Hebrew lettering, a special piece of jewelry, clothing, or another small expression of Jewish identity. I loved seeing how differently everyone chose to show their pride.

Great food, a little exploring, ice cream, music, and so much Jewish joy. Such a special night in Huntington from beginning to end. ✡️🎶

Talk about a once-in-a-lifetime experience… although I may have to see Guns N’ Roses again one day. 🤘🎸

Absolutely unbelievable. Seeing rock royalty in real life genuinely took our breath away.

And because apparently the marketing brain never fully turns off… one of the most repeated comments of the night was about the production. 😂

“That camera lens is INSANE.”
“Look at the quality of that screen!”
“How many pixels is that?!”
“I need to know what they’re using.”

Some people go to a Guns N’ Roses concert and just enjoy the music. We apparently also analyze the equipment. 😂

Sometimes all it takes is one decision.

One day you wake up and realize it’s time to stop wondering “what if?” and start building the life you’ve been dreaming about.

Almost five years ago, I took that leap and started TKZ Consulting. Looking back, I couldn’t be more grateful for where that one decision has led me, the incredible people I’ve met, and the clients who have trusted me along the way.

This photo is with someone I admire so much. She’s one of my closest friends, and she recently took her own leap by completely changing career paths and entering the high-tech industry. Watching her embrace something new with so much courage has been such a reminder that it’s never too late to bet on yourself.

Here’s to taking chances, cheering each other on, and remembering that some of the best things in life begin with one brave decision. 💙
