For No Vacancy, I created an identity that feels warm, nostalgic, and easy to connect with—like stopping at a cozy roadside motel after a long drive.

The muted retro colors and gentle details give the brand a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and enjoy the moment.

The logo combines a classic motel door-hanger shape with a weather-star symbol. This blend represents comfort, clarity, and the modern-yet-familiar vibe the brief described, giving No Vacancy a clean and memorable mark.

Photo Manipulation

Concept:
I have tried to combine these two things (see in the second image) in such a way that they look unreal to us in this world. The idea behind it was how our ancestors used mushrooms in fairy tales and folklore. They believe that mushrooms are instrumental in changing the state of mind from local shamans to do their work in the spirit realm. Mushrooms, they say, give them insight into the world of spirits, ancestors and the underworld.
