I’ve been playing D&D for a lot of years, and one of my favourite things is showering my DM with all the minis they could need for the table. The only challenge? Avoiding spoilers while printing! This glorious demogorgon hasn’t shown up in our campaign yet, and I’d very much like to keep it that way. If you know, you know how dangerous this encounter can be...

đź‘– Pants from the Past #21
This bust from the grimdark world of Warhammer 40k is one of my favourite experiments in finishing. It was printed in resin, coated with real copper paint, and then chemically activated to fast-forward nature’s rust process. The result? A bust that looks like a heavy bronze statue from a forgotten war memorial, until you pick it up and feel just how light it really is.

Some painting techniques are pure alchemy.

Throwback to when I had just gotten my new resin printer and needed something epic to test it out. This figure from Elden Ring was perfect. The sharp detail, the intricate textures, the smooth flow of shapes, resin printing at its finest.

Still one of the best examples I have of what good calibration (and a bit of patience) can produce.

đź‘– Pants from the Past #19
Sometimes you just want to print and paint something cool, then hand it off to your local game store as a gift. This bust was inspired by the Khemri aesthetic from The Old World (Warhammer), and was made especially for Spellekijn, a place that’s kept tabletop alive and thriving for so many of us.

Undead kings deserve love too.

Some hobbies deserve more respect than they get. Over the years, I’ve had several requests to print custom Funko Pop parts, and I’ve grown to love the energy and detail that goes into them.

This dynamic Goku riding Shenron is pure motion captured in resin. And check out those dragon textures, sharp, expressive, and full of life, even before paint.
This piece is printed in multiple parts to make painting and assembly easier, and even in this state, it pops!

Minis minis minis. Over the past few years, I’ve helped so many D&D groups around the world bring their characters to life. From steampunk gunslingers and armored hounds to tavern brawlers and classic adventurers, it’s always a joy to print these.
Here’s a small selection of my personal favorites!

đź‘– Pants from the Past #16
This was one of my biggest passion projects to date, and not just in size. I spent months slowly assembling and painting this 40k Knight (mini Titan), and I loved every step of the process.

It all started when a fellow hobbyist encouraged me to start a Warhammer 40k army. The moment I saw this model, I knew it had to be the centerpiece. Around that same time, I got a brand new resin printer, the largest I'd ever owned, and this porphyrion felt like the perfect challenge to put it through its paces.

Around a year ago, over 90 parts were printed. This happened in a single day. The new printer passed the test with flying colors, but then it was my turn. With up and downs, I finally gathered the courage to start building and painting. Half a year later, it’s finished, exactly how I envisioned it.

đź‘– Pants from the Past #15

Dead or alive, this one stole the spotlight.

This One Piece bust of Sanji was a fun challenge, so many folds, textures, and tiny details (that cigarette smoke swirl!).
Printed as a surprise for a friend who’s been rewatching the entire anime from episode 1.
He saw it, laughed, and immediately cleared shelf space. That’s the highest compliment.

For my local improv theatre group De Noordsterren, I’ve printed a whole constellation of trophies and thank-you gifts over the past two years.
It’s an honour to support them behind the scenes. Their shows are wild, a good time, and full of heart. Proud to be part of it!

đź‘– Pants from the Past #13

Over the past two years, I’ve printed a lot of dice masters for makers who cast their own custom sets in silicone molds.
Didn’t save many pictures, but this chunky, sharp-edged crew survived the archive. Love a good set of dice!

Before the chrome.
Johnny Silverhand’s “BURN” knuckle rings from Cyberpunk 2077, printed for cosplay and later painted up shiny and worn at the show.
They were a hit.
