One of the most admired works of art from Hellenistic Greek art is the Nike or Winged Victory of Samothrace. It is displayed at the Louvre since the year 1866.

It is a 9ft tall symbol of vIctory often used in naval combat ships. It is also called "Nike" which meansss "victory" in Greek.
