Just because someone charges a certain amount doesn't mean you should.

Many creatives set their prices based on what others are charging. That's a mistake.

Your pricing should be based on:
âś” Experience
âś” Skill level
âś” Industry knowledge
âś” Deliverables
âś” Time investment

Premium pricing should be backed by premium value.

And if you're brand new? That's okay. Growth comes with experience, education, and proven results.

Before raising your rates, ask yourself:

Business Tips that can be used regardless if you're an author, narrator, production company or even a fan/listener/reader, reviewer or someone that LOVES to share things!

Tip 1 - Ensure you &/or those you hire use graphics, music &/or videos legally! Do not use Copyrighted images, music or videos (e.g. tv shows, movies, magazines, google search, other graphics, etc.), regardless if it's for an ad, a social media headers/cover image, audio/graphic/vid tea

Have to add AI use as well. If you as an author/narrator are against AI make sure those you hire do NOT use AI as parts of the marketing/promo/graphics/vids used for your things.
