Life’s twists and turns — the highs, the lows, and the moments that quietly reshape us — have a way of teaching us what truly matters over time.

Some losses don’t just change a season; they change how we see life, how we love, and how we choose to show up. They teach us presence, gratitude, and the importance of carrying light, even when the road feels uncertain.

Today, I honour my baby sister — her life, her spirit, and the quiet strength she carried so effortlessly. Though she is no longer physically here, her presence and light live on — in memory, in love, and in the ways we continue forward with intention and purpose.

Remembering Her Motto: Be Blessed, Never Stressed and don't let anyone take away your Smile 🫶❤️🫶

Happy New Year, my BEAUTIFUL SOULS...

As we step into 2026, I take this opportunity to wish you and your families bountiful blessings, continued grace, and all the very best for the year ahead and beyond.

Entering this new year, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and thankfulness. Reflecting on the past year, 2025 — the year of Transformation — was one of refocus, sacrifice, and deep personal assessment. It was a season that called for discipline, intentional pauses, recalibration, and a renewed commitment to what truly matters.

It was not a year of rushing forward, but of laying foundations — working toward academic milestones, investing in personal growth, and taking deliberate steps toward reinvesting in purpose-driven work and business. It reminded me that progress is not always loud or immediately visible, but it is always meaningful when it is divinely aligned.

Above all, I move forward grounded in the assurance that my destiny is firmly rooted in God’s purpose for my life. With that understanding comes clarity, reassurance, and peace — knowing that every step ahead is guided, intentional, and purposeful.

As we enter this new season, I wish you, my beautiful souls, a year of alignment, growth, and renewed strength — one where faith leads, purpose anchors, and every effort bears fruit in due time. Here’s to a new year filled with grace, clarity, and continued becoming.

2026 is declared the year of EVOLUTION...

Hello my Beautiful Souls, Happy Monday to you all.

Even though my priorities have shifted and school now holds most of my focus, I still find time and space to keep my creativity flowing with intention. I feel incredibly delighted to be featured in the 2025 edition of KYD Magazine – Threads in Motion, where Culture Meets Sustainability 💛

Reminiscing on GLAMBITION 2025, reminded me why I do what I do. It really made me look at how else I can create impact, stay intentional about how I show up, and what I represent to the women, young ladies and anyone who I connect with and cross my path.

Together with being part of a panel with some powerful women in their own respective fields, I facilitated a rotation of GLOW mini workshops where we created the space to inspire confidence, spark ambition, and show these young ladies that their dreams are valid, possible, and worth pursuing.

It was a reminder that every interaction has the potential to plant a seed, whether it’s a shift in how they see themselves, the courage to chase a goal, or the confidence to own the room. The energy in that space reaffirmed that showing up fully, intentionally, and unapologetically can be the spark that changes someone’s story.

Because when you believe in your own GLOW, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

Hey Beautiful Souls,

It’s Throwback Thursday and I’ve been reflecting on a powerful question:
👉🏽 What does Personal Presence really mean in a business context and how does it impact how we’re perceived as women in leadership?

This was one of the questions I unpacked with the ZOMA Lady herself, Mrs. G, during her limited series, Bold Women in Business & Leadership and let me tell you, the conversation was rich.

We explored the 3 P’s of Executive Presence:
🔹 Presence — Building influence and inspiring others without demanding attention.
🔹 Poise — Owning your space with the right blend of confidence, credibility, and clarity.
🔹 Power — Demonstrating authenticity, consistency, humility, and real connection.

For women navigating business and leadership, Executive Presence goes far beyond the surface. It’s not just about the first impression — it’s about the lasting impact of your energy, communication, and values.

Your Personal Presence is a leadership tool.
➡️It opens doors.
➡️It commands respect.
➡️It allows you to lead with intention and individuality — not imitation.

🔁 So here’s my call to you:

Pause and reflect — How are you showing up in the rooms that matter?

And more importantly...
Is your presence aligned with the leader you are — and the one you're becoming?

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending Disrupthr Caribbean held at the The Samaan Estate and let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! The residual energy from that room can still be felt.

From the larger-than-life host, T&T’s very own Kerron Sunny Bling Sealy, to the powerhouse speakers, to the dynamic team at HR@Heart Consulting Inc. | Disrupthr Caribbean and all the major players that brought this event to life, it was a true testament to the creativity, brilliance and vibrancy of our Caribbean people.

And speaking of vibrant, your girl made sure to show up embodying my brand and personal style, in a bold bubble-gum pink suit. And yes, this was strategic. Why?
1️⃣ To support my beautiful Coach Lerielle A. Cole Pierre who absolutely delivered on that stage, and
2️⃣ Because colour itself, is part of my style story. It’s who I am and how I express my individuality through style.

Hear when I say to you that when I step into a room, you best believe I’m going to make a statement, whether with a simple outfit or a bespoke piece. Putting in a shameless plug here: in a room mostly filled with muted hues, I captured the essence of the event… I DISRUPTED the room with COLOR. 🤭🤣

A moment I’ll never forget walking in and hearing, “Hi Candace!” from none other than Juma Bannister. I was shocked, not just because I finally met him in person, but because he actually recognized me! (Still gobsmacked.) I immediately turned and hugged him.

Then another woman said to me, “I know you — you’re the FASHION LADY!” 😂... You know what? I’ll take that title! 👏🏽✨

All this to say: your image plays an integral role in showcasing who you are and representing your individuality. It tells the STORY of YOU.
