Today, I had a fruitful inaugural meeting with my boss the Minister Designate for Communications, Technology and Innovation on our new role in using ICT to ensure sustainable efficiency in both the Public and Civil services with absolute Private Sector Partnership. Among the many issues discussed, we narrowed to prioritize the quick wins for the Big 5 of H.E. Bio’s administration in our first 100days in office; i.e.
1. To solicit technical support from both the Private Sector and International Organizations or even Countries for Capacity Building Initiatives for the sector.
2. Expanding Tech and Connectivity (fire wall) at all Chiefdoms through the Chiefdom Digital Learning Hub initiative; this will booster Health, Eduacation, Agriculture and Digital Skill Development and Training targeting Human Capital Developments components.
3. Strengthening the Tech Eco-Systems for smart governance and working solutions, i.e. digitize the civil and public services for effective output.

In addition to the above, we both considered the following in our proposed Strategic Plan for the Ministry.

1. A National Data Center to integrate all other sectors, a foundation for smart city initiative which will mitigate crime rate and ensure compliance

2. A National ICT and Innovation Strategy with time lines

3. Increase public and private engagements at all times including the schools on tech development

Review and promulgate police’s as and when necessary especially on data security.

From our meeting, it was clear to us that we have to succeed and the time is now as this opportunity is for all the younger generation of Sierra Leone and WE MUST SUCCEED TO THE GLORY OF GOD IJN, INSHALLAH.🙏🙏🙏

Just In‼️

A lady by the name Isatu who worked for the Sierra Leone Correction Center has been stabbed to death by her brother inside the home they shared together in Kuntorloh Community, the brother also stabbed himself and he is in a critical condition.

The reason for the act is still unclear but neighbors have it there has been family issues between the brother and the sister.

The matter is now with the police for investigation.

ECSL announces date for payment of polling staff in their "Operational Instruction on Payment of Polling Staff".

All staff will receive their payment in their respective district bank account , enough money to pay for all polling staff.

I extend my sincere felicitations to all.

I firstly want to commend the president, HE Rtg Brdg Julius Maada Bio for his unending trust and believe in youths. As the first set of cabinet appointments are out, it's obvious that youths are in dominance and women are placed right at the apex and placenter of it all.
As a visionary leader and a believer in education being a major tool in developing any country and nation, *I want to take this singular opportunity to humbly plea on behalf of myself and the entire youth population that as we are looking forward in anticipation of the second roll-out of cabinet and other appointments, we hope to see competent ministers in their 20's.*
HE sir.
It is a record, set it.
It is a journey, start it.
It is a path, use it.
It is a faith, believe it.

It is visible now that, the youths of today are the leaders of today not tomorrow anymore. The youths are proven themselves beyond all forms of uncertainties and ambiguities through which we have captured the heart of the president.
There is a whole lot of qualified young folks around the governance structure, kindly use them Mr President.
It is because of the output and agility of the likes of Dr. David moinina sengeh, Ben kelfala, Dr Ramatulai Wurie (Haja) and many more that has enabled them to work in the best interest of the people of this nation and in line with your manifesto whilst all of these old folks are having a weak brain with an exhausted and retiring body.

Note: Experience they say is the best teacher and age comes with experience?

I want to unequivocally state and quote my father (of blessed memory) that irresponsible people do grow old and maintain and irresponsible experience.
Pr******te, thieves, rascals, business men and women, ra**st etc also grow old and equally carry their experiences along and every human can only advice from his/her experience and ways of life.
Whilst youths on the contrary look forward to the life after serving their people and we do believe in posterity which will judge each and everyone of us.

We are warmly and passionately in continuity looking forward to celebrating the youngest ministers and commissioners within the whole of Africa and the world at large who are still in their 20's and ready to serve with all sincerity and efficiency.

Acting on intelligence, the Operations Team of Waterloo on Monday the 10th day of July 2023, busted a Car theft garage at Bassa Town, Lumpa, Waterloo and successfully retrieved a vehicle that was stolen in February 2023 from the LUC of Central Police Station, Freetown.

The owner of the said garage, Moisera Sesay together with three (3) of his accomplices including a young lady, Isatu Swarray are in the custody of the Waterloo Police helping with the investigations.
