“Paano kung palitan na tayo ng AI?” 😬
I know maraming VAs and freelancers ang may ganitong fear ngayon.
And I get it.
We’re already in an era where AI can write, build, analyse, troubleshoot, and execute faster than us. Tasks that used to take hours can sometimes be done in minutes.
Nakakatakot? Maybe.
But here’s what I think we sometimes forget:
AI can generate the output. But WE still need to know if that output is actually right.
AI can build you a workflow…
pero tama ba yung logic?
AI can write the code…
pero does it actually solve the problem?
AI can suggest an automation…
pero iyon ba talaga ang kailangan ng business?
AI can give you an answer in seconds…
but you still need the knowledge and judgment to question that answer.
And THAT is where I think the opportunity is for us.
Instead of asking:
“Paano ako makikipag-compete sa AI?”
Maybe the better question is:
“How can I become better at using AI?”
Because the people who will stand out aren't necessarily the ones who can work the fastest manually.
They’ll be the ones who know how to combine their skills + experience + judgment + AI to create better results.
As VAs, freelancers, and tech specialists, we don't need to prove that kaya nating gawin lahat manually.
We need to learn how to direct the tools available to us.
Use AI to make your workflows easier.
Use it to execute faster.
Use it to explore solutions you wouldn't have considered before.
But most importantly, know enough about your craft to recognize when AI gets it wrong.
Because Claude Code vs. Codex?
Next year, baka ibang tools na naman ang pinag-uusapan natin. 😂
The tools will keep changing.
Your real advantage is your ability to adapt, learn, think critically, and know what to do with them.
AI won’t replace the skilled operator.
It will amplify the skilled one. 🚀
So instead of being afraid of AI, equip yourself to work WITH it.
That might just be one of the most valuable skills you can build as a VA today.
Claude Code vs. Codex? That’s not the competition you should be worried about. 👀
Because while everyone is debating which AI tool is better, the bigger shift is happening somewhere else:
AI is making ex*****on easier.
You can ask it to write code.
Build a workflow.
Troubleshoot an issue.
Create a system.
Automate tasks that used to take hours.
But here’s the catch:
AI can give two people the same tools and they can still produce completely different results.
Why?
Because knowing how to prompt AI isn’t the same as knowing what needs to be built, why it needs to be built, and whether the output actually makes sense.
That’s where your experience comes in.
Your understanding of the business.
Your ability to connect the dots.
Your judgment when something doesn’t look right.
Your ability to design the workflow instead of simply following instructions.
So if you're a VA, freelancer, systems specialist, or someone working in tech, don’t compete with AI on ex*****on. Learn how to direct it.
Your goal shouldn't be to prove that you can do everything manually.
Your goal is to become the person who can take the tools available and turn them into better systems, faster ex*****on, and actual business results.
AI won’t replace the skilled operator.
It will amplify them.
Claude Code, Codex, or whatever comes next—the tool will keep changing.
The real advantage is knowing what to do with it.
